I didn't set out to become an advocate. I became a mother.

My sons are autistic, and through them I've learned that good design, clear communication, and strong communities can change lives. The people who have supported our family, from therapists and teachers to nonprofit organizations and fellow parents, have shaped how I think about creativity and service.
